His new single On My Lips released Friday 26th September is the first release from his upcoming EP, Dream, which is set for release early 2026. The track was completed the day the band entered Nave Studios in Leeds and marks a shift away from subtlety and toward direct, unapologetic expression. It showcases a less vulnerable and more impactful landscape within songwriting based on the polarity of navigating loneliness and the intimate act of kissing.
George adds, “This track reveals more of my own personality than it does about the universality of love. Highlighting the complexity of how it feels to be human, but also the simplicity of shared intimacy. The more I think about the song’s meaning, the more thought-provoking it feels. I originally wrote four songs addressing themes and situations of ‘being intimate’, with some containing riffs and others with heavy chordal information. ‘On My Lips’ is the mutated love-child of those songs and refined ideas”.
